The 2012 Seacoast Writers Contest

Prize information, contest entry forms, guidelines and additional information can be found on the website - see the menu at the left. The contest, now in its 22th year, is open to all adult writers. Prizes are offered in each of three categories: poetry, short story, and personal essay.
Entry forms and guidelines can be downloaded from the website or requested by mail with a stamped, self-addressed envelope from the contest director, Pam Gjettum, 6 South Street, Exeter, NH 03833. Please review all guidelines carefully. No entries will be accepted without an entry form. All entries are judged without the author's name. Entry fees are $7 per entry for Seacoast Writers Association members and $15 for non-members.
Winners were publicly announced in May 2011 at the Seacoast Writers Association Spring Writers Conference. First place winners were invited to read their winning entries.
