Honorable mentions were Aine Greaney, Newburyport, Mass.; Priscilla Carr, Nottingham, NH; and Meghan Fennell, Gardiner, Maine.
The judge was Laurie Morrissey, Hopkinton. a free lance writer and assistant director of publications at Saint Anselm College.
Poetry
In Poetry, the winners were, first place, Kolleen McGonagle, Methuen, Mass.; second, Jacqueline Lapidus, Brighton, Mass.; and third, Maren Tirabassi, Portsmouth, NH. Ben Schwartz, Dover,NH received Honorable Mention.
The poetry judge was Vincent Cioffi of Vermont, author of three collections of poetry.
